Sangeetha Ramanan, Architect AAA, AIBC, MRAIC, LEED Green Associate, EDAC

As managing principal, Sangeetha collaborates with principals, sector and operations leaders, business development leaders, designers, and other managing principals to provide the highest level of quality and service to our staff and clients. She focuses on all aspects of delivery and design excellence, working with clients and partners to strengthen relationships across Canada and HDR globally.

Over Sangeetha’s career, she has worked across a broad range of building typologies, recently focusing on healthcare as a clinical planner and contributing to a multitude of projects in British Columbia and Alberta. Evidence of her commitment to excellence, she received an Outstanding Service Award for Pandemic Response as part of the capital management team at Alberta Health Services for the period of 2021-2022.

She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Carleton University and is a registered architect with the Alberta Association of Architects, the Architectural Institute of British Columbia, and a member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.
