Ten Point Green Plan Needs to be Embraced by Organisations
Over the past eighteen months our Energy and Sustainability Director Paul Scriven and the sustainability team have been reaching out to our clients to inform and educate them on the U.K.’s upcoming green legislation and what it means for our industry. Unveiled by Downing Street, the 10 Point Green Plan sets out the approach government will take to build back better, support green jobs and accelerate our path to net zero. The intentions are that this will lead to a green industrial revolution, with similar positive effects on people and places that the original industrial revolution had some 260 years ago.
In this article, featured in Workplace Insights, Paul discusses how this launch may encourage a catalyst for change for some while serving as a wake-up call for others. It also features topics including offshore wind, the Net Zero Carbon pathway, harnessing hydrogen, embracing renewable technologies, Jet Zero Council and Zero emissions transport.
