Environmental Services
HDR and our team members are proud to be providing NEPA and other Environmental Services for the many Programs and Offices of the U.S. Department of Energy. Under this contract the HDR Team brings the history of environmental services of HDR Engineering, including our subsidiaries of HDR|e2M and HDR|DTA, as well as our teammates of Battelle, Los Alamos Technical Associates, and Labat Environmental.| HDR|DTA | HDR acquired Portland, Maine-based Devine Tarbell & Associates, Inc. (DTA) in 2009. DTA is a leader in hydroelectric services adding over 225 professional engineers, scientists, regulatory specialists, and support staff located at 9 offices in North America to the HDR network. |
| HDR|e2M | HDR acquired engineering-environmental Management, Inc. (e2M) in June 2009. e2M adds more than 366 environmental professionals and engineers in 14 offices in the United States, Guam, and Kuwait. e2M specializes in environmental compliance, conservation and planning, restoration, engineering and information technology services to public and private sectors, with more than 90 percent of its clients representing the federal government. |
In addition to supporting DOE Offices and Programs directly, the expertise and experience of this team is available to assist State and local agencies, as well as private industry, in complying with the NEPA requirements for the many Grants or Loan Guarantee programs as a third-party contractor. HDR has extensive experience working as a third-party contractor on numerous projects including power generation, transmission, water, facility, and transportation projects.
