(ATLANTA - October 12, 2009) - The city of Rialto, Calif., has been recognized by the International Economic Development Council for its work on the Rialto SlurryCarbâ„¢ Facility, which converts biosolids from processed sewage into a renewable solid fuel. The fuel, called E-Fuel, processes biosolids from five southern California municipalities and reduces greenhouse gas emissions by more than 80,000 tons per year.
